Yellow Craquelé 4 x 4"

 The line owes its name to wonderful Terracotta originating from Sicily. The Subtle mixture of clay and volcanic lava sand gives this hand molded cotto qualities of crystallization in fire that magnifies pigments and glazes conferring them luster and intensity. The crackle glaze applied to the hand painted decoration gives the object a remarkable depth evoking the magic of old tiles.
